HyperStar is brought to Pakistan by Majid Al Futtaim Retail of UAE. In UAE, Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets represent (and thus known as) Carrefour, the world’s second largest retailer.
Majid Al Futtaim Retail manages around 40 hypermarkets in the Middle East region. In Pakistan and Iran they are known as HyperStar.
In Pakistan, HyperStar opened its first outlet in Lahore Fortress Stadium, while second outlet was opened in Karachi, at Dolmen City Mall.

Shahrah e Faisal is the main artery of Karachi, it is the busiest road which starts at Metropole hotel and ends near the Karachi airport, it has also developed into a major business area, housing offices of local as well as multinational companies.Untill 2005 Faisal Highway used to be the fastest way of traveling from southern Karachi to north-east part of city and vice versa i.e. from Karachi Airport to Karachi Seaport but now many people avoid using this highway during rush hours of evening as a huge tide of traffic pass through this time of week days.

Frere Hall is one of the few well-preserved buildings from the days of the British Raj that still exists in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
It was built in honor of Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere (1815–1884), who was known for promoting economic development in Karachi.
